September 15th, 2007, Perrisi, CA - After taking off a week to regroup, Jimmy Crawford and Ray Stansberry took the Sic'em Racing Ron Bach owned Mopar Powered Maxim to Perris Auto Speedway and looked to be the car to beat.  After Hot Laps, the car seemed pretty easy to drive, and Jimmy was feeling real comfortable.  Jimmy was 5th car out for qualifying and he would end up finishing in his first lap with a time of 17.059 which would be enough to give Jimmy the Pole!  In the heat race action, the 17 car of Seth Wilson would have problems on the start and that would hold up Rip Williams and Jimmy Crawford.  Jimmy would not be able to get into the top 4 after that, and would end up with a 5th place finish taking him to the semi main event.  Starting on the pole of the semi, Jimmy would lead the cars into one as the motor let go finishing his night.  Although the car was done for the night, it was a great accomplishment as it was our first fast time with USAC/CRA.  It was only a matter of time as Jimmy really does a great job in qualifying.  Come on out to the track and watch the most exciting form of Non Winged 410 Sprint Car racing as we head to USA Race Park in Tuscon AZ on Friday September 21st, and Manzanita Speedway on Saturday September 22nd in the Red and White 410 Maxim Sprinter!  Be sure to come by the pits and say hi at the end of the night.

June 23, 2007 -  Jimmy Crawford and the Sic'em Racing Team went to battle this weekend at Perris Auto Speedway.  Jimmy turned a qualifying lap of 17.009 which was 9th fastest car of the night.  Jimmy then went on to take the 4th place Transfer spot in his heat race, was up to 2nd then had a bobble but was able to maintain that 4th position for the Transfer Spot.  After all was said and done, Jimmy started on the outside front row of the main event.  Jimmy then drove the car to a 14th place finish.  It was a great night for Qualifying and Heat Race and the car looked good in the beginning of the main event, but went back a little after the first caution of the night on lap 5 as he was unable to run the high line which seemed to be the fastest line for most of the cars tonight.  Next race is on Wednesday, July 4th @ Perris Auto Speedway.

April 14, 2007 -  Tom Stansberry was in action at Perris Auto Speedway this weekend, in the #75 Green Machine this weekend.  Tom had a problem in Qualifying as the Radio somehow came loose and jammed itself under the throttle.  This put tom back towards the end of his heat race where he raced clean, but was unable to get to the transfer position.  In the B main Tom started 17th in the 20 car B Main event, and he ran a great race putting the car in the 8th place finish, just missing the transfer by two cars.  All though the night was not perfect, Tom did a great job in the B main event and brought the car home in one piece.

February 3rd 2007 - The 2007 Sic'em Racing  season started off with Steve Conrad at the wheel of the Ray Stansberry / Ron Bach owned Mopar Powered Maxim machine.  Running for rookie of the year for 2007, Steve started off the pretty good with a qualifying time of 17.461 giving him the 20th quick in qualifying and put Steve in the 4th starting position of the 4th heat race.  Steve ended up finishing in the 6th position, which put him into the B main event starting in the 6th spot.  Steve needed to hold his line and keep that 6th spot for a transfer, and he was introduced to 410 racing on the Half Mile of Perris Auto Speedway, and learned not to give an inch as he was passed be a couple of cars.  Steve fought back trying to get into that 6th position again, getting faster with each lap, but had to settle for an 8th place finish ending the teams night.  Although Steves performance did not get him into the main event, he did progress pretty well and knows now that he needs to run a little more aggressive to get into the main event nor next weekends race at Manzanita Speedway for the Copper on Dirt!!!  So come to Manzanita, and watch us move to the front.  See You There!!!
