July 4, 2008 - Alan Ballard has best finish to date with Sic'em Racing Team bringing home a 3rd place finish.  Alan drove the Ron Bach owned Ray Stanberry prepared Mopar Maxim to a third place finish on the 4th of July.  The night started off with a qualifying lap of 17.495 which was the 8th fastest lap of the night and put the Sic'em Racing Mopar Maxim on the inside of the 4th row of the 4th heat.      Alan would race an aggressive race and when it was all said and done, Alan would bring home a 2nd place finish transferring him straight into the A-Main Event for the 4th of July Sprint car show starting on the outside of the front row.      When the green flag dropped, Alan quickly took the high line, and would lead the first 10 laps.  On lap 10 Rip Williams would be on a mission to get a win on his first race back after breaking his foot.  Mike Spencer and Showtime Danny Sheridan would get by as Alan got back by the Ripper who would retire with mechanical problems.  After 30 laps passed, it was Danny Sheridan, Mike Spencer, and Alan Ballard in third.  This was a big week for Ray and Alan as they continue to finish farther and farther ahead of the week before.  Next race will be on July 19th at Perris Auto Speedway.  So come on out and watch Alan head to the front!!!
